ENTRANCE TO AUROVILLE
This is the main entrance to Auroville. There is an entrance out on the main road, but it has an insignificant sign. You would never know something this grand was just a kilometer or so off the road.
The grounds are kept neatly swept with little hand brooms by women. This is common for most ashrams and monasteries in the far east.
Construction is still going on everywhere, done mainly by men.
